I read all the time about being authentic. Authentic means undisputed origin; genuine. I thought I was authentic until recently. I’ve realized, I cannot make everyone happy and I’m okay with that. I realize my way is different than theirs, and I’m good with that. I realize it’s about having a voice, not following or fearing rejections, its about speaking my truth with kindness but being okay without the approval of others. I’m done following the flock, this year I will blaze my trail. So with a new year and a new perspective, this year we are going to do things differently.
